WordMitr respects the intellectual property rights of others. We expect users and authors to do the same. We respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement and may remove or disable access to content when required by applicable law.
Important: Please do not submit false or misleading claims. Submitting inaccurate notices may lead to legal consequences. If you are unsure, consider consulting a qualified legal professional.
1) Designated Contact (DMCA Agent)

Subject line: “DMCA Takedown Request” or “DMCA Counter-Notice”
2) How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe content on WordMitr infringes your copyright, email us the following information:
- Your full legal name and a preferred contact email.
- Identify the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (description and/or link).
- Exact URL(s) on WordMitr where the allegedly infringing material appears.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your electronic signature (typing your full legal name is acceptable).
3) What Happens After We Receive a Notice
- We review your request for completeness and clarity.
- If valid, we may remove or disable access to the content.
- We may notify the user/author who posted the content (where applicable).
- We may request additional information if the notice is incomplete.
4) Counter-Notice (If You Believe Content Was Removed by Mistake)
If your content was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to: wordmitr27@gmail.com with the subject line “DMCA Counter-Notice”.
Your counter-notice should include:
- Your full legal name and contact email.
- The URL of the removed content and enough details to identify it.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the content was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in your applicable region and will accept service of process from the original complainant (or their agent).
- Your electronic signature (typed full legal name is acceptable).
5) Repeat Infringers
Where appropriate, WordMitr may restrict or terminate accounts of users or authors who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights.
